"Embracing My Autism Later in Life: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Acceptance," shares my experience from a teenage informal diagnosis to an official one at 30. We'll discuss challenges in relationships, developing coping strategies, and dealing with guilt and shame. I'll talk about the fear of changing my self-made structures after the diagnosis and stress the importance of validating self-adaptations while seeking professional support.
We'll also explore the impact of the late diagnosis on relationships and loved ones. I'll touch on accepting my queerness and autism, promoting self-discovery, and ending with an encouragement to embrace uniqueness, seek support, and navigate personal journeys of self-discovery.
