INCLUSIVITY STARTS WITH EMPATHY. LISTENING OPENS MANY DOORS TO CHANGE.
ABOUT ME
I specialize in public speaking, facilitating workshops, and producing content, with a firm belief in the power of storytelling to foster empathy. I believe that centering empathy and compassion is fundamental in establishing genuine inclusivity within any community.
In my work, I am driven to raise marginalised voices and empower people to locate and use their own voice. I believe passionately that, given the space and platform, people can use their experiences and stories to enact change and encourage new perspectives.
As someone who is autistic, queer, and has a chronic health condition, I use my own story through my work as a force to advocate for a stronger sense of safety and belonging for people existing with these identities in various different settings.
Having served as the EMEA chair of the Global Pride ERG in a global cybersecurity company, I recognize the challenges of advocating for change in corporate settings, which is often done on a voluntary basis. This experience taught me the vital need for advocacy and education in corporate and community settings.
I originally trained as an actor and draw on these skills in my DE&I work. Just as great theatre inspires us to see life from someone else’s perspective, the services I offer hold space for peoples’ voices to be heard, promoting empathy, dialogue and new perspectives for transformative change.
